Pray without ceasing

1 Thessalonian 5:17

How to Pray in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic:

> Pray that God's people will be looking to God and know His peace in their hearts.

> Pray for comfort of those families who have lost loved ones.

> Pray for those who fallen ill, for God's healing grace upon them.

> Pray for God to intervene in a powerful way and the virus halted, people healed but most of all, that His redemptive purposes be accomplished in the midst of this crisis.

> Pray for people to cooperate with the government authorities in helping fight the spread of the coronavirus. That Christians will be a shining example in relation to this.

> Pray for wisdom for the government authorities and medical experts in keeping track of the spread of the virus. And for God's guidance in the measures and actions that they come up with in relation to that.

> Pray that people will be kept from spirit of panic and paranoia and instead for the Holy Spirit to convict people of sin, righteousness, and judgement to come and that people might be led to Christ.

> Pray that Christians will be salt and light especially at this time. That we will not be judging one another because of our varying responses to the pandemic. But rather that churches and Christians will be praying for one another and supporting each other and be alert for opportunities to engage people in gospel interactions.

> Thank God for the economic aid that the government will be giving to businesses and people. And that God will multiply these resources to meet their needs as establishments are shut down and employees asked to work at home or stay home.

> Pray for the Lord's provisions for His churches and missionaries for the carrying on of His work in the light of the government ban for congregations to meet in order to curb the spread of the virus.

> Pray that in the midst of many temptations to be self-focused that God's people will seek to glorify Him and have ministering hearts to people around them even to those who are not part of the church.

> Pray that families will take the opportunity to take time together. To get into the Word and prayer together.
