Perspective Testimony: "I lost my fire but,"

I lost my fire but,

The pandemic has affected me greatly. I appear to have lost a part of myself. I lost my fire for missions. This is the main reason why I decided to take Perspectives again. The reading about Apostolic Passion by Floyd McClung is one of my favourites and is the one that spoke to me the most. Apostolic Passion is a deliberate, intentional choice to live for the worship of Jesus in the nations. To be committed to the point of death to spread His glory. I have been reflecting and praying about this in terms of my motivation and purpose for missions. To have the heart that desires to see God worshipped in every tongue and nation. The first time I took Perspectives, it spurred me to join the Missions Committee and truly be involved in the church's mission affair. Five years later, I attended as an alumni and it continues to ruin me for the ordinary.
